Explosive Relationship Results In Drastic Measures.

Have you heard of the personality disorder that is in the country today named borderline personality disorder? This disorder is called borderline, because the patient is borderline with the more severe multiple personality disorder. Multiple personality disorder is when a patient suffers from multiple altering states because of neglect, trauma or abuse. Borderline personality disorders are the most contentious personality disorder today.

Psychiatrists now know that people with borderline personality disorders are unstable and can change emotions or moods by the hour. They can scrutinize people as good and bad one day then bad and good the other. They are neurotic and struggle with the same addictive behavior over and over again. Their relationships are explosive and cause stress and distress to both the patient and the person they have the relationship with.

Borderline personality disorder causes the patient to labor with mistakes or with emergencies that need to be dealt with, and requires saving from another. This happens over and over again, so that they always are reliant on the other person and this is how the relationship is maintained. Eventually the other person in the patient's life will have enough and the relationship will stop.

The patient will then seek out another relationship and will imitate the previous relationship, resulting in failed relationships over and over again. Rehabilitation is being offered and has helped with borderline personality disorders and range from group therapy and/or medication. The medication helps the patient manage with the stress of relationships at home and on the job and in social environments. Borderline personality disorders are rising though the disorder is divisive and to say the least mysterious.

As with other personality disorders, borderline personality disorder is thought to be the result of a neglectful or abusive childhood or genetic. More and more cases of borderline personality disorders are being diagnosed and doctors are continuing to search for the root cause and the best treatment available for their patients. Borderline personality disorders if left undiagnosed can result in the more severe multiple personality disorder and can result in great pain and suffering to the patient and their relationships.

Shying away from treatment is not advised and since the psychiatric and medical community is receptive since the past and should be sought. Borderline personality disorders range from mild to severe with the more severe sometimes requiring hospitalization and more drastic treatment. Patients with borderline personality disorders can lead normal lives with group therapy and medication and can become a valuable benefit to their communities.

Their intelligence is no less than ours, they simply think or act compulsively which can be hazardous and lead them into trouble. But with treatment they can cope as any normal person, and lead thriving and prosperous lives.
